  10. Munich, February 21, ipc -- ScanOmatic, release 1.4 is now
  11. available on ftp.
  12.  
  13. ScanOmatic is an easy-to-use scanner software for most of
  14. the popular desktop scanners. Additional software filters
  15. and an intuitive user interface allow powerful scanning.
  16.  
  17. Again we were able to add new scanners, enhance the driver
  18. and software filter support. As requested by many we made the
  19. licensing easier, you now have a plug and play demo without
  20. ordering a license key just by the push of one button. A demo
  21. is now even possible without a scanner connected. With the
  22. Oc] series we now also support a large scanner size (36"),
  23. a great tool for scanning complete news papers.

  40. differences in SCSI driver support you are invited to test it
  41. with your configuration before purchasing a license. SPARC
  42. follows as soon as NEXTSTEP for SPARC is finally release.
